END OF THE TERM POST

HELLOOOO👀 As the term ends, I want to share my thoughts on the course and say goodbye to everyone who has been following along.

One of the best parts of this course was learning how to use different technology tools for teaching. I gained a lot of knowledge about how to design lesson plans that incorporate digital resources, which will definitely help me in my future career as a teacher. On the other hand, the course was difficult because there was a lot of homework each week. We had to create materials, design lesson plans, and complete other assignments. While using technology in the tasks was helpful, the amount of homework each week made the course feel a bit overwhelming at times. I sometimes struggled to balance all the assignments with my other responsibilities.

The easiest part of the course was learning how to use new technology tools. It was fun and interesting to explore different platforms and resources that could improve my lessons. However, managing the weekly homework was quite difficult. It was challenging to keep up with all the tasks, especially when we had to design detailed lesson plans and materials every week. It sometimes felt like too much work, and I didn’t always have enough time to do everything well.

My favorite task was creating an instructional video for flipped instruction. It was exciting to think about how technology could make lessons more engaging for students and give them more control over their learning. However, my least favorite task was creating a corpus-based teaching material. I found it challenging and less enjoyable than the video task. It felt more time-consuming and harder to see the immediate benefits.

To make the course better, I think it would be helpful to reduce the number of homework tasks or give us more time to finish them. This would help reduce stress and let us focus more on learning.

If you’re taking this course next year, be ready for a lot of work, but also enjoy learning new things. The technology might seem difficult at first, but it gets easier with practice. Don’t give up! With practice, it will get easier. Be patient, stay organized, and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

This course has taught me how to use technology in English lessons. These skills will be very useful in my future as a teacher. I feel more confident about teaching with technology.

Thank you for following me, and I wish you all the best! 🙆🙌
