Creating an AR/VR Integrated Teaching Material

  Hello everyone! 😊 I want to share the experience of our homework project. We had to use AR (Augmented Reality) or VR (Virtual Reality) to make language learning more interesting, and we decided to use AR with my group friends.  AR   adds digital images or information to the real world. For example, when you use an app on your phone or tablet, AR can show you extra details or images on the screen, like a 3D model of a building or labels on objects. AR doesn’t change the real world, it just adds things to it. VR is different because it creates a completely new, virtual world. When you use VR, you are taken into a different environment that is not real. You usually wear a headset that covers your eyes and sometimes headphones for sound, which makes you feel like you are actually inside the virtual world. Creating a Flipped Classroom Video

  Hello everyone! 😊 I want to share our experience of creating a vocabulary teaching video for a flipped classroom. Our teacher assigned this homework and gave us two weeks to complete it. We worked as a group of four. The process was challenging, but we shared the tasks as a group. For this task, we picked the Fıtness unit from the MEB Grade 5 English coursebook and focused on teaching key vocabularies about it. At first, our teacher suggested tools like Powtoon, Edpuzzle, and Animaker, but we decided to use Canva because it was easier and faster for us. Canva allowed us to add visuals, animations, and our own voice recordings to make the video more interesting. After finishing the video, we created a quiz using Wordwall to help students practice the vocabulary. We wanted the video to be engaging and informative, so we created a story around a sporty family, the Smith Family, who would help introduce the vocabulary.
